July 5th - Coral Bay and the Indian Ocean!!
Before leaving Bullara today we treated ourselves to their home made scones and a coffee. It was well worth the effort. We then drove to Coral Bay which was only an hour away. We had a booking at the caravan park for one night only as Saturday night is booked out due to school holidays.

Our first view of the sea. You can just see the waves breaking on the reef.
On our arrival we walked up to the look out on the Headland and then we went and set up camp.
Looking back at the town.

Our camp.
We then went for a walk to check out what was about in the local shops. We ended up having a drink at the local watering hole before returning to camp for lunch.
Some of the catch of the day.

We then went down to the beach and Bob had a swim but I only had a paddle as it was a bit too cold.
The cliffs at the bottom of the Headland.

The cliffs were made of interesting rocks.

In the evening we put on our town clothes and went out for a lovely seafood dinner.
We are going to explore Exmouth and surrounds tomorrow and then go back to Bullara for the night as we liked it so much last night.
