June 17th - On the Road Again.

We left Alice Springs at about 9.00am and travelled north, turning left at the Tanami Road and after approx 116 Klms turned left onto the Gary  Junction Road. The Gary Junction is a dirt road and at first it seemed very rough but it is surprising how quickly you get used to it and it doesn’t seem as bad.
We travelled on stopping at Mt Liebig to get fuel and finally driving in off the road to a place called Willies Rockhole where we set up camp between 2 sand hills. It proved to be a great campsite despite the wind picking upon the evening.
